About BIBEX
More Than a Virtual Tour
Imagine exploring an ancient city, discovering the stories behind familiar Bible accounts, or travelling to a fascinating place — together with friends from different parts of the world, without language barriers standing in the way.
That’s the idea behind BIBEX.
BIBEX is here to build an international community for people who enjoy exploring the Bible through history, geography, archaeology and culture — while connecting with friends from around the world.
We bring people together across countries, languages and generations, creating opportunities to discover something new, share experiences and build lasting friendships.
There’s so much more to explore when we do it together.
Discover. Connect. Experience.
There’s more than one way to explore!
Live Virtual Tours
Visit fascinating places, learn from knowledgeable guides and discover historical and cultural details that bring Bible accounts to life — all from the comfort of your home.
Beyond the Tours
Explore interesting stories, historical discoveries, cultural connections and other topics that spark curiosity and invite further exploration.
Real-Life Experiences
Whenever opportunities arise, we can also explore places together in person, combining travel, discovery and friendship.
An International Community
Meet people from different countries and language groups, share experiences and enjoy the friendships that grow along the way.
Our First Three Months
BIBEX begins with a three-month pilot program, from November 2026 to January 2027. Our initial plan is to offer at least two online events each month, alongside other opportunities to explore and connect.
Towards the end of the pilot, we’ll review the experience and consider expanding the programme. Our goal is to build something enjoyable, meaningful, and sustainable for everyone involved.
One Community. Many Languages.
Language shouldn’t prevent anyone from joining a fascinating journey of discovery.
Our activities are organized primarily in English, with interpretation into Czech, Polish and Russian. We hope to welcome more languages as the community grows.
Members can follow upcoming activities, join live events and access selected recordings afterwards. If you can’t join a live event, a recording will normally be available to members for approximately three days afterwards.
We aim to offer a welcoming, easy-to-use experience, including for those who aren’t particularly comfortable with technology.
Different backgrounds. Shared discoveries. One community.
Why Membership Matters
BIBEX creates opportunities to explore together. Meaningful experiences take real work and involve unavoidable costs. Membership makes BIBEX sustainable.
Where Does My Membership Fee Go?
Behind every event is a great deal of preparation and coordination — working with guides and interpreters, managing technology, communicating across languages and keeping everything running smoothly.
Membership contributions help cover the necessary administrative, technical and legal costs of running BIBEX, as well as modest compensation for those who make our activities possible.
If you particularly enjoy a tour, you’re also welcome to thank the guide with an optional tip. This is entirely separate from your BIBEX membership.
Why Not Rely on Voluntary Contributions?
We know that some wonderful virtual tours are available through voluntary contributions, and we appreciate the generosity that makes them possible.
BIBEX, however, also brings these experiences to people in other language groups. Organizing interpretation and coordinating international activities involves additional work and expenses.
Voluntary contributions alone don’t always provide the reliable funding needed to plan ahead. A modest monthly membership helps us build something sustainable.
How Does My Membership Help Others?
Your membership does more than make your own experience possible.
By supporting BIBEX, you help us provide interpretation into Czech, Polish and Russian, alongside our English-language activities — with the hope of including more languages in the future.
This gives friends who might otherwise be unable to enjoy these experiences because of language barriers an opportunity to take part.
Together, we can make possible what none of us could achieve alone.
