Meet Vierka

I’m the person behind BIBEX, and I’m so glad you’re here!

I live in Brno, in the Czech Republic, and I work as a professional translator and interpreter. Though my job is also my hobby, my interests go far beyond languages. I love exploring new places, discovering fascinating details about history and culture, and most of all, bringing brothers and sisters together.

Since 2021, I’ve had the privilege of coordinating international online programmes, including virtual Bible tours with interpretation into several languages. Along the way, I’ve worked with wonderful guides and interpreters and met friends from many parts of the world. I have loved those experiences!

What stayed with me most wasn’t just how much we learned. It was seeing the friends connect, encourage one another and share experiences that brought Bible accounts to life.

That’s what inspired me to create BIBEX.

My hope is to build a welcoming international community where we can explore the Bible from fresh perspectives, enjoy meaningful experiences and make new friends — regardless of where we live or which language we speak.

I’m looking forward to exploring together!

Outside BIBEX, I run Studio Viera, where I work with languages, people, and international projects.
